Four all-time favorite TED talks

If you're new to TED, these are the talks you should start with.

Hilarious story-telling contains an irresistibly inspiring message.

Funny you should choose these four... they are four (of the five) that I've downloaded in iTunes because they resonate so strongly with me! (The fifth, if you're wondering, is Dave Eggers talking about the pirate store / learning center).

I show them all the time to convey ideas to friends & family, because they do a better job of explaining my world view than I do on my own ; )

Hmm. The first 3 are also among my favourites, which I've encouraged family and friends to watch/listen to.
Was recently asked what TED talk had made me think differently about the world and I described this Hans Rosling talk -- amazing!
Hi, I wish I had speakers on my computer so that I can listen to the videos. I'll be back. Thank you
I am a fan of TED. Indeed a great selection. I make a point of view what's new on TED regularly and share my experience with others frequently. If it wasn't for Twitter I could not personally say to you Great Job!, if it wasn't for YouTube I wouldn't have heard of TED, and if it wasn't for Computers and the Internet I would not have a business today. Excited to see where this journey takes us next.
